I have six to seven new bag-style products aimed at both industrial and outdoor/vanlife markets. I need an experienced soft-goods designer to spend exactly four hours reviewing the concept and handing back a concise expert report. During those four hours, I expect you to: • Estimate the hours I should budget for a complete tech pack on the product line. • Map out an efficient path from techpack to prototype through production, noting key decision points. • List any additional information or measurements a designer will need from me to build a full tech pack. • Recommend suitable materials and trims that can withstand industrial wear as well as outdoor/vanlife conditions (abrasion, weather exposure, easy clean-down, etc.). Please include in your proposal examples of past work on industrial or heavy-duty soft goods—tool bags, protective cases, cargo organizers, or similar. Experience limited to fashion handbags or apparel will not be sufficient for this job. The deliverable is a brief but actionable PDF or Word report I can circulate internally. IP has been registered - but will need a NDA. Potential further coop - but this report must be stand alone.
