The major thrust of the project is to generate an invoice in
excel on a third worksheet from the first and second worksheets which
contain customer and discounts data, product and price data
The two functions in use are drop list and v-lookup functions. It is
expected that when a customer name is entered on the invoice all other
data should come up automatically. However, entering a customer name only
captures data in text, while numerical information such as the customer
code and discount rate is not captured.
Although, the numerical data can be obtained by using the customer code to
retrieve all relevant data for the invoice, the project requirement is to
be able to retrieve information using the customer name.
You will be expected to fix the issue with my attached excel invoice and also document a step by step approach on how the solution was reached.
