Text Data Cleaning Task

I have a dataset made up entirely of text fields that now needs professional data cleaning. The goal is to deliver a file in which every entry is consistent, readable and error-free so downstream analytics and reporting run smoothly. Here is what you can expect from the job: • Source file: an Excel/CSV sheet containing a few thousand rows of text. • Scope: full data cleaning—identifying inconsistencies, fixing obvious typos, unifying capitalization and spacing, and making sure no irrelevant characters remain. • Deliverables: the cleaned dataset in the same structure as the original, plus a brief changelog or summary of the transformations you applied so I can audit your work. If you are comfortable working with spreadsheet tools such as Excel or Google Sheets, can handle regular-expression-based find/replace operations when needed, and have an eye for detail, I’d love your help.
