NOTE - This is a specialized industrial telemetry integration project and is not a general web development, app development, or IT support engagement. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EXPERIENCE TO THE SCOPE PRIOR TO RESPONDING. We have an installed heavy-duty telematics unit currently capturing both CAN and J1939 data streams. The remaining requirement is the implementation of a structured cloud-based telemetry environment capable of converting the raw incoming data into organised, validated, and continuously exportable datasets suitable for integration into our AEMS™ analytics stack. The engagement will begin with the remote commissioning and configuration of the device within a cloud telemetry platform environment. Platform selection remains flexible and may include AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Cloudflare, or comparable infrastructure, depending on the contractor’s recommendation and deployment approach. The scope of work includes: Validation of live CAN/J1939 telemetry packets against expected parameter IDs and signal integrity Structuring and organizing the telemetry environment, including naming conventions, device grouping, access permissions, and data hierarchy Configuration of reliable export workflows, including API-based exports and scheduled CSV delivery mechanisms, with MQTT capability considered optional for future scalability Documentation of the full deployment and configuration process to support repeatable rollout across additional assets and fleet deployments The desired outcome is a stable, scalable, and reproducible telemetry pipeline capable of delivering clean, structured data directly into the ESSNA AEMS™ environment for downstream reporting, analytics, and operational modelling applications without the need for ongoing manual processing. Contractors with demonstrated experience in industrial telemetry, fleet telematics, CAN/J1939 environments, and cloud-based data integration workflows are encouraged to engage.

Hello, I understand you need a robust, cloud-based telemetry pipeline to transform raw CAN/J1939 streams into clean, structured data that plugs directly into the ESSNA AEMS™ analytics stack. I will start with remote commissioning and cloud configuration, then design a scalable data model, clear naming conventions, and secured access controls. I will implement reliable export workflows (APIs and scheduled CSVs) while keeping MQTT optional for future growth. Validation of live telemetry against expected parameter IDs and signal integrity will be built in, with automated checks and alerts to ensure ongoing data quality. The architecture will be documented for repeatable rollout across more assets. I will propose a cloud strategy (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or equivalent) based on performance, cost, and compatibility with ESSNA, and develop repeatable deployment steps, data schemas, and access controls. The result will be a stable, scalable, and reproducible pipeline delivering clean data to ESSNA with minimal manual processing. Which cloud platform do you prefer for data export and what are your priority SLAs for data freshness? Best regards,

Hi I can help implement the cloud telemetry pipeline for your installed heavy-duty telematics unit and structure the incoming CAN/J1939 data for clean export into the AEMS™ analytics stack. The main technical challenge is validating raw CAN/J1939 packets against expected PGNs/SPNs and converting noisy live telemetry into organized, reliable, and continuously exportable datasets. I have experience with industrial telemetry workflows, IoT data ingestion, CAN/J1939 data handling, AWS IoT/Azure IoT-style pipelines, API exports, scheduled CSV delivery, MQTT, database structuring, and cloud integration architecture. I can help commission the device remotely, define device groups, naming conventions, access permissions, data hierarchy, and validation rules for signal integrity and parameter mapping. I can also configure export workflows so validated telemetry can be delivered through APIs or scheduled CSV files without manual processing. My focus will be to create a stable, scalable, and documented setup that can be repeated later across additional assets and fleet deployments. Thanks, Hercules

Hi, Your project is much closer to an industrial telemetry and cloud integration engagement than a standard software project, and I understand the importance of building a stable, reproducible pipeline rather than just forwarding raw CAN/J1939 packets. I can assist with: Remote commissioning and telemetry platform configuration CAN/J1939 packet validation and PID mapping review Structuring cloud telemetry environments for scalability API and scheduled export workflows Secure device grouping, permissions, and data hierarchy setup Deployment documentation for future fleet expansion For the architecture, I would recommend a lightweight but scalable pipeline using AWS IoT Core or Azure IoT depending on your preferred downstream integration model. The environment can be organized to support: Real-time ingestion Clean normalized datasets Scheduled CSV/API exports Future MQTT expansion if needed I also understand the importance of maintaining signal integrity and consistent naming conventions across fleet assets so the downstream AEMS analytics layer remains predictable and audit-friendly. Deliverables would include: Configured telemetry environment Validated ingestion pipeline Export workflow setup Documentation for repeatable rollout Test validation summary I’m available to begin immediately and can support both the initial deployment and future scaling phases. J1939 parsing is where most pipelines get tripped up. Are you decoding PGNs on the edge device before pushing to MQTT, or sending raw CAN frames to AWS for server-side processing? The approach is completely different for each. I can start today and have a working ingestion pipeline up within a week. The bid reflects the description as written. Final numbers come after we walk through the full scope together. Want to jump on a quick call?
