Job Title: Registration Coordinator The job responsibilities include but are not limited to: The Registration Coordinator duties include the back-end execution of Cvent event registration system, moderate data entry, and working with external attendee registrations to provide assistance with troubleshooting and customer service, so should have a good phone manner and be sociable. On show days the Registration Coordinator will lead the team at registration front of house. This is a freelance opportunity for a CVent guru, and the majority of the work can be performed remotely, or there is space to work out of our office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Must be available to work in our office in the days leading up to the Congress and onsite at the Brooklyn Expo Center for event days: October 17 – 23, 2018. Requirements: Very detail oriented and organized Must have CVENT experience Experience in managing/working events Have a positive, friendly, and outgoing personality Microsoft Office, Googledocs, Cvent Analytics helpful Two to Three years' experience About StarChefs StarChefs has supported the restaurant industry since 1995 and serves as an essential resource and platform for restaurant professionals, as well as a backstage pass for food-savvy consumers. The site also connects hospitality professionals to careers in foodservice through the industry’s leading job board, StarChefs JobFinder. 13th Annual StarChefs International Chefs Congress StarChefs will be hosting its 13th Annual StarChefs International Chefs Congress, October 21 - 23, 2018 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The Congress is one of a kind: a three-day trends symposium that gathers more than 100 of the world's most innovative chefs, pastry chefs, bartenders, and sommeliers to present the latest techniques and culinary concepts to 1500 of their peers. For three days, attendees have the opportunity to attend Main Stage Demonstrations, Hands-on Savory, Pastry, and Mixology workshops, Wine Tasting Seminars, and Business Panels. Beyond programming, attendees have an all-access pass to find must-have equipment and products at the Chefs Marketplace, dig into some of the country’s most exciting dishes at food carts and pop-up restaurants, and catch the return of the Somm Slam and Vitamix Challenge.
