Your core focus will be document preparation, day-to-day client correspondence in both languages, and light case management to keep files moving. The paperwork is workers’ comp specific. On a regular week you might draft and file: • WC claim forms • Settlement agreements (Stips and C&R) • Medical records requests • Requests for hearings, settlement conferences, and pre-hearings Accuracy and timeliness are critical; many filings are deadline-driven. You should already know the basic procedural rules so you can prepare forms with minimal supervision, track service and proof of filing, and update the case calendar. When clients call with questions in Spanish, I will rely on you to explain next steps clearly and document the conversation in the file.
