Our startup helps communities better understand their exposure to flooding by transcribing data from building permits and utilizing the resulting data to understand risk. We have an automated extraction pipeline which covers most of the documents that we receive but in some cases we're not able to capture the data, and we need someone to do some manual data entry. This is where you come in! You'll help our team by looking at building permits and filling out our pre-built transcription forms.
We expect the work will be between 30-40 hrs a week, but in some cases it may be less, and in some cases it could be more.
We hope to find someone who is OK doing data entry for long periods of time, has a good eye for details, and is reliable. We also consider English language skills to be an important part of this role, as much of the data that will be entered will be written in English.
