Hi there,
The background:
I am building a not-for-profit charity site to help patients and their families as well as the doctors and nurses looking after them by identifying the symptoms they have.
This job requires someone with some clinical experience, such as a junior doctor, medical student or a trained nurse or healthcare practitioner.
The task:
I have a list of 25,121 symptoms that patients may describe to their doctor, as well as medical signs and disease names. I'd like you to just assign a single ICPC code to whichever 10,000 symptoms you consider to be the most obvious, simple, and straight-forward to assign an ICPC code to, However, I would appreciate it if you would flag the more complex ones you encounter with *** so I can at least identify them later and process them myself.
This is an example of some items in the list of 25,121 symptoms which need to be classified:
obsession, obstetric, oestrogen, oily skin, olecranon, olfaction, olfactory, oligidria, oligouria, oogenesis, opacified, operation, operative, optomotor, orchalgia, orchidism, orchiitis, orofacial, oropouche, orthopnea
I have attached the ICPC-2 code list as a PDF.
Where the item in the list is too ambiguous or not specific enough to assign an ICPC-2 code, I need you to not just guess what code to insert, but rather type "non-specific".
I need the work to be typed directly into the following Google Spreadsheet:

The pay:
Successful bids will be around $80 for successful and accurate assignment of 10,000 single ICPC codes to symptoms of your choice from the list of 25,121.
After you have assigned the first 2,500 single ICPC codes to symptoms, I will check your work for accuracy and discuss any revision and/or changes to methodology which need to be undertaken. If all is ok, you can proceed to complete the 10,000. The final 10,000 will be again checked for accuracy and quality and if everything is ok, the complete payment will be released to you from Escrow.
As I mentioned earlier, this is a completely not-for-profit project for charity.
Warm regards,
Jay
