Data Entry Clerk

Oticon, Inc., a world leader in the manufacture of advanced hearing technology, presently seeks enthusiastic individuals to join our Somerset, NJ facility. Responsibilities Performs all order entry functions from prioritizing incoming orders, creating a computer generated production ticket or service work order form, editing and packing the order, and distribution to the appropriate work area in accordance with our standards and guidelines. Performs all invoicing order entry functions from editing the order, creating a computer generated invoice, proofreading, distribution of completed orders and filing of all documents. Supports coworkers with all work flow needs including assisting the shipping department, and ship orders to ensure same day service. Qualifications Data entry requires excellent keyboard and typing skills, speed, accuracy, attention to detail, excellent eyesight to be able to read very small numbers, and excellent judgment while working in a fast paced environment. Requires 6+ months of data entry experience. Requires a positive attitude, ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, reliability and flexibility. Experience using Windows 95, Outlook, the Internet, and other data entry experience is preferred.
