Admin/Data Entry/Technical Assistant-Insurance Company (Nassau County)
Compensation: $20 per Hr based on experience
Employment type: Part-time 20 hrs per week (possibility of full time role if successful)
Admin/Data Entry/Technical Assistant - for Long Island Based Insurance Company
We have a need for a Part-time Employee at a Nassau County based Insurance Company. There is the potential for full time opportunities as well for those that excel in a part-time position.
Set-up prospect and customer files; set-up and process dead files; conduct miscellaneous filing;
Answers telephone and routes calls to others; operates fax machines, scanners, printers and copiers;
Assist service team with assembly of marketing materials, proposals and presentations for prospects and
Input prospect and customer data into applications;
Provide word processing assistance as required;
Input information into agency management system;
Order and prepare loss runs and motor vehicle reports as directed;
Maintain certificate holder list;
Process insurance certificates;
Other duties as assigned.
Up to 2 years related work experience at or similar to an Insurance Company is required to qualify for an interview.
Great oral and written communication skills
Great customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Great problem solving and time management skills
Intermediate typing skills (30-35 wpm)
Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
