Two Excel things worth settling now, because they decide whether this dashboard keeps working next month or breaks the first time you drop new data in. PivotTables do not refresh on their own. Open the file next month, the numbers look updated, and they are last month's until someone right-clicks refresh, or you wire a small refresh-on-open so it is never a manual step you can forget. And a pivot reads a fixed range, so a new row added below the source sits outside it and silently never counts. The fix is to put the source in a proper Excel Table so it grows with the data and every chart follows. Second, the sharp bit of a sales dashboard is comparison, and that is where Excel quietly lies. Month over month and same-month-last-year need a real date column, not text like Jan-25, or it sorts April before January and the trend line is nonsense. Worth confirming your dates are real dates before anything is built on them. What I would deliver is one clean model behind the sheet, then the dashboard on top, so refreshing is drop-in-and-done rather than a rebuild each month.
