Daily tasks include:
Answer customer phone calls and reply to emails and forum posts about the product and provide technical support.
Process customer support tickets about general inquiries and bugs, route issues to internal teams.
Update forum threads and job tickets.
Document bugs, review internal development activity, test bug fixes.
Requirements:
Experience in software support, software development, web design or apps, software testing, or computer science.
Good written and spoken English.
Understand software development, source code version control, and project management concepts
Previous experience using tools for ticketing and issue management, and online collaboration
Can learn how to use Git, Subversion, Perforce, and other technical code management tools
Can provide clear written explanations to technical and non-technical users
Available full time, 40 hours per week, on a set schedule during some or all of European business hours
Reliable high-speed internet connection, modern PC or laptop, noise-cancelling VOIP headset.
Self-discipline, reliability, professionalism, and commitment to excel at working from home as an independent contractor
