Need a microcontroller to read in analogue data, process the data, and make decisions based on the data. Microcontroller to be used is Pic18f4550. Has to draw little current when active ([url removed, login to view] or less). Also when shut off, should draw very little current (30uA or less), until turned on. Has to measure analogue data, and log the data. Also, has to communicate on a CANBus, and be able to control from the CANBus. Has to be able to configure the unit from a USB port connected to a PC, and update the unit's software from USB. Have to keep project confidential. We will need all designed materials (Schematic, PC board layout, source code, etc), and should be well commented so that it can be edited or updated in the future.
Prefer Eagle PCB 6.X, and MPLabX but other common development formats are ok. Will provide more detail if this seems do-able. Time frame is three weeks (or less) to finish project, hopefully. Ideally no more than 4 weeks. We will need to be able to duplicate and order the circuit boards here locally, and order the components and build the circuit once things are done, to test, and will probably have changes that need to be made with testing, hope to keep changes as little as possible. First, is this something you can do, and second, is confidentiality ok (this is a commercial project), and third, do you currently have the time to dedicate to this?
