I'm working on a mobile app called "Qlikked" which enables users to play matchmakers with their Facebook friends, it's a hot-or-not style of app that shows you a combination of your single friends and asks if they would "Qlikk" or not.
Our App is targeting North American women aged 16-28, which is kinda' of a harsh population as they rarely use online dating services, and therefore all the branding/positioning/messages needs to be extra loose and smooth.
I've got many tasks in hand, but the first one is to come up with a couple of variation for a Facebook wall post.
This wall post is done on behalf of the matching user on the walls of the friends that the user think they would "Qlikk", it is of course only been done on non-registered users of the app (we lack other methods of communication, for registered users we send an email/in app notification)
- loose, cool and fun for the target population
- the goal of this post is to make people click it, download the app and view the proposed matched they got
- should avoid looking like an online dating thing, just to make the users intrigued enough to download the app
Header: <Name>, I thought of someone that I think you should meet!
Subtext: Check it out, no strings attached.
So, do you think it's a match?
