Right now I develop projects with the board beaglebone black Rev C. I has installed Linux Debian, wheezy distribution, 3 serial ports enabled; ttyO0, tty01, tty02, it works with a screen adafuit HDMI, USB touch screen, the software is developed with Qt5, so the file system includes a toolchain and packages for cross compiling from windows.
Now I am planning to use a waveshare screen, model SKU02672, the screen works ok, but the touch is no detected, this screen works ok with jessie and stretch distributions, but the toolchain and the serial ports don't work in these distributions.
So, the work have 3 options:
a) develop or install the USB drivers for waveshare screen in my current wheezy image
b) Upgrade my wheezy image to jessie or stretch, preserving the file system, packages and enabling ttyO0, ttyO1, ttyO2 ( ttyS0, ttyS1, ttyS2 for jessie and stretch)
c) Install jessie or stretch from scratch, transplant the files from my current image, install the package and the Qt5 toolchain, and enable ttyS0, ttyS1, ttyS2.
It is mandatory that the developer has the board beaglebone black rev C (in some countries it is not so easy to get), I will upload my current image for analysis and tests.

About the Project : We have developed similer projects before Can we talk about the project :) 1. We have a BBB . we dont have the display you need. we can tests the software here but we might need remort access Plus
I have the board and long experience working with it. Also worked in porting and back porting screens drivers too. I recommend we upgrade to jessie or stretch.
I don't have beaglebone board. But can remotely do with teamviewer. keen to do it, please discuss if interested.

Hi there, I have been developing for the BBB for 3 or 4 years now, and I think this project is within my capabilities. I do not have the specific screen so I will need to pick one up from my local Microcenter -- Plus

Have previus experience working on drivers for Unix Like Systems. I think the easy way of dealing with this is: Developing, porting (you say it works well with jessie and stretch) or if posible Installing. But of cou Plus
