We are currently recruiting for a talented journalists or creative writer to staff its bespoke news service desk. Based in Oxford UK, the news service provides tailored, Consumer specific news to clients across a range of sectors and industries. We are looking for graduates from a media or current affairs-skewed background with a passion for both research and writing. Attention to detail, strong communication skills - both verbal and written - a highly organised attitude and a professional demeanor are vital to the role which is based in our fastest growing department. Knowledge of how to structure an engaging news articles and the ability to quickly become familiarised with a range of industries is also advantageous. Key responsibilities of the role will include: Sourcing and writing news articles to tight deadlines Making sure articles are well written, Consumer Related, grammatically correct and most importantly an Excellent Command of the English Language Monitoring news channels, recording useful sources Writing press releases and promotional pieces This is a challenging but rewarding role which will equip successful candidates with an increased skill set, experience of working on a busy news desk and knowledge of the Consumer Complaints Industry.
