My single-family residential build has moved from planning to active construction, and I now require a licensed civil engineer to guide this phase through to completion. I need professional oversight that keeps the work aligned with the approved plans, satisfies all local code requirements, and protects the project schedule. Typical tasks will include: • Reviewing as-built conditions against issued drawings • Preparing and stamping any field revisions the permitting office requests • Visiting the site at agreed milestones to confirm structural and drainage compliance • Responding promptly to contractor RFIs and providing concise written reports • Supplying updated drawings and calculations in both DWG and PDF Familiarity with residential foundations, framing, and municipal inspection checkpoints is essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly with builders and inspectors.
