State Agency Problem-Resolution Caller

I need someone who is completely comfortable picking up the phone, finding the right person at a state agency or major service provider, and staying on the line until a client’s problem is actually resolved. Nearly every call you will place is a problem-resolution call— and advocacy call, think unpaid benefits, licensing delays, or disputed service bills—so your conflict-resolution skills have to be more than theory; they need to show up in real time with frustrated clerks, hold music, and tight deadlines. You will be speaking for our clients, capturing every promise, deadline, and reference number in a concise call log that I can drop straight into our case file. Because most issues escalate through state-level offices, familiarity with how those agencies route inquiries is a plus, but I will guide you through any specific procedures until you have them down cold. As our caseload grows, you will eventually coordinate directly with the Attorney General’s office on select matters, so professionalism and discretion are non-negotiable. Day-to-day, expect to: • Dial state agencies and related service providers, articulate the client’s position, and secure a concrete next step or resolution. • Record each interaction in our shared CRM with timestamps, contact names, and follow-up dates. • Flag any matter that requires legal escalation so I can review it with counsel immediately. Success is simple to measure: every ticket you touch should move forward, and every call log should be clear enough that anyone can pick up where you left off. If you thrive on turning bureaucratic “no’s” into “yes, let’s get this fixed,” I’m ready to get you on the phones this week. The calls will be recorded.
