Need help getting OPENVPN on an ASUS router working with a Windows 7 client. I've tried it but keep getting an error when I try to connect and I'm not sure how to resolve it.
I've enabled the OPENVPN Server from the Router VPN menu, added users, exported the config file. I've installed the OPENVPN client and used the exported config file.
Here is the part of the log file that keeps repeating over and over as the client tries to connect:
Sun Jan 08 22:44:05 2017 UDP link local: (not bound)
Sun Jan 08 22:44:05 2017 UDP link remote: [AF_INET]MYIPADDRESS:1194
Sun Jan 08 22:44:06 2017 OpenSSL: error:14082174:SSL routines:ssl3_check_cert_and_algorithm:dh key too small
Sun Jan 08 22:44:06 2017 TLS_ERROR: BIO read tls_read_plaintext error
Sun Jan 08 22:44:06 2017 TLS Error: TLS object -> incoming plaintext read error
Sun Jan 08 22:44:06 2017 TLS Error: TLS handshake failed
Sun Jan 08 22:44:06 2017 SIGUSR1[soft,tls-error] received, process restarting
I want to be able to see my network resources including access network shares on my server at my office. I also want my developer to be able to build applications and run them against my server apps over the VPN for testing purposes.
