STEVE MASON has over 30 years’ experience as a technology executive and consultant in cloud-based and enterprise software, social media, electronic security, medical devices, clean technology, and consumer packaged goods. He exclusively works with CEOs, VCs, and high-level executives on key strategic and branding initiatives.
He has particular expertise in corporate strategy, change management, positioning assets for sale and negotiating the sale, brand strategy, naming, positioning, corporate/product launches and marketing program execution. He was the chief negotiator and corporate spokesman in numerous deals, and he architected and executed a successful turnaround strategy for a software services firm. He is also a patent broker as well as a co-inventor of five issued US patents (data privacy and security) and three pending patent applications.
Mason has been an integral part of teams that have raised over $100 million in venture capital and he has relationships not only with numerous CEOs, venture capitalists, private equity and angel investors, but also with some of the most prominent technology attorneys in Silicon Valley. Mason’s clients have ranged from IBM and advertising giant Ogilvy & Mather Direct to venture- and seed-funded startups.
