I need a patient trainer to guide me through the basics of everyday computer work. I’m starting at a beginner level and want to become comfortable with three core areas: Microsoft Office—specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint—reliable internet usage and browsing, and simple troubleshooting/maintenance tasks that keep a PC running smoothly. The format that works best for me is live, one-on-one sessions. Screen-sharing tools such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams are fine; what matters most is that I can ask questions in real time and practise while you watch. What I expect from you: • A clear session plan that builds skills step-by-step. • Practical exercises I can complete between meetings. • Simple reference notes or short video clips summarising key actions. • Friendly, jargon-free explanations—if I don’t understand something the first time, I need you to rephrase and demonstrate until it clicks. Please let me know how many hours you recommend, which days or times you’re available, and any teaching materials you already have on hand. If you have experience training absolute beginners, that’s a plus. Looking forward to working with you and finally feeling confident at the keyboard.

Hi, starting from zero is completely fine. Honestly it's easier to teach good habits from the start than to fix bad ones later. How I'd plan it (around 12-15 hours total, 1 to 1.5 hour sessions, 2-3 times a week): Weeks 1-2: computer basics, files & folders, then safe internet use: browsing, search, email, downloads, spotting fake sites and scam pop-ups. Weeks 2-4: Word (letters, formatting, tables, printing), Excel (entering data, simple formulas like SUM/AVERAGE, sorting, a small budget sheet), PowerPoint (a basic presentation start to finish). Last couple of sessions: simple maintenance: updates, antivirus, clearing space, what to do when something freezes or the internet stops working. Every session is on Zoom or Teams with screen share, and you do the clicking while I watch and guide. After each one you get a short notes sheet with screenshots plus a small practice exercise, and I'll record short clips of anything you want to revisit. If something doesn't click I'll just explain it another way, no rush at all. Timing is flexible, weekday evenings or weekends both work, whatever suits you. Quick question: is it a Windows laptop you'll be learning on, and do you already have Office installed or should we start with the free web version? Shobha

Hi, I can help you build confidence with everyday computer work through simple, practical, one-on-one sessions. Rather than overwhelming you with theory, I’ll demonstrate each task, let you practise it yourself, and help you repeat anything that isn't clear the first time. We can cover Word, Excel, PowerPoint, safe and effective internet usage, file management, and basic PC troubleshooting step by step. I can also provide short reference notes after sessions so you can practise independently. I’m comfortable explaining technical concepts in simple, jargon-free language and adapting the pace to your current level. Could you let me know which days/times work best for you and whether your priority is Microsoft Office, internet usage, or basic troubleshooting? Best regards, Satyam Kumar
