I need a Philippines-based Resident Director / Local Representative who can immediately step in for several international corporations we are onboarding. Your core focus will be statutory filings—specifically the preparation, signing, and timely lodgement of annual returns and tax filings with the appropriate Philippine authorities—while also keeping an eye on broader compliance and governance matters as they arise. Because all of these clients are overseas, you will coordinate closely with my cross-border incorporation team, receive documentation digitally, and act as the on-the-ground signatory whenever Philippine regulations demand a resident officer. Everything from liaising with the SEC or BIR to signing board minutes may fall under your remit, so proven experience handling those statutory submissions is essential. Key deliverables • Act as named Resident Director / Local Representative for assigned entities • File annual returns and tax reports on schedule, with proof of submission shared to our portal • Maintain statutory registers and minute books, flagging any governance gaps you notice • Provide a reliable local correspondence address and respond to regulator notices within agreed SLAs • Join virtual board meetings when a resident director’s presence is required and sign resolutions accordingly This is a long-term, multi-client engagement; once you are set up in our system you can expect an expanding portfolio.
