Any gurus who can help me? I have a Omron ZX1-LD300A61 displacement sensor, 4 MY2N-J relays and a DM542 driver + motor. I want the module to set a fixed height, say 40cm from sensor to base. And when I put something under the sensor, say 10cm high object, and I need the ZX1 to raise the tower 10cm up so it is still 40cm from sensor to object. When I remove object it goes down. Ideal is to add 3 buttons. One UP button, when pressed motor turns up One DOWN button, when pressed motor turns down One for Auto, you activate the sensor for raising/lower the tower to 40 cm. This project can be done using Ardino UNO module. Your sensor ZX1 gives 4 to 20 mA Output and range is 50 cm with resolution of 0.002 mm. I have 20 yrs experience in microcontroler projects. Ardino UNO can be programmed to sense the analog input from sensor and drive the motor accordingly so that Distance between object and sensor remains 40 Cm with 0.002 mm resolution.
