I have a fully equipped plant— a three-ton stainless-steel reactor with precise temperature and variable-RPM agitation— and every raw material on hand to produce in-can biocides for decorative paint systems. What I need now is the steady guidance of an experienced chemist who can work side-by-side with my in-house formulator (remotely) to turn those inputs into a consistent, market-ready product. Your brief covers two fronts. First, the formulation itself: I want a robust, broad-spectrum preservative package that disperses cleanly in water-borne paints, remains stable across pH 6-10, and complies with the usual VOC and safety limits. Second, the quality-control regime: test protocols, acceptance specs, and troubleshooting advice so that every batch leaving the reactor meets the same microbiological and performance benchmarks. We can share live data— temperature curves, agitation speeds, titration results, microbial counts— while the batch is running, and I’m happy to schedule video sessions at each critical step so you can see exactly what we see. Deliverables I’d like to walk away with: • A detailed formulation sheet with raw-material percentages and charging sequence • Recommended processing parameters (temperature profile, RPM, reaction time) tailored to our reactor • A QC checklist covering in-process and finished-product tests (pH, active content, microbial challenge, stability) • Written guidance for scaling up and for future adjustments if raw-material specs change If you have specific software or analytical tools you prefer— Design-Expert, JMP, HPLC methods, microbial challenge protocols— let me know and we’ll make them available. I’m ready to start as soon as you are and can provide historical batch data on request.
