Paid on delivery
I need a small-scale web application built in Django (Python 3.x) that connects to the official WhatsApp Business API and lets me broadcast marketing messages. The core feature is simple: I upload or paste a list of numbers, compose a message (text and emojis only for now), and either send it immediately or schedule it for a future date and time. A clean, minimal dashboard is enough—just a place to manage sender credentials, contacts, and a calendar-style view of upcoming broadcasts. Message status (queued, sent, failed) should be stored in the database and shown on the dashboard so I can verify delivery. I do not need analytics or fancy reports right away, but the code should be modular so those pieces can drop in later, along with possible automated replies or segmentation. Preferred stack: Django, PostgreSQL (SQLite is fine for dev), Celery or the built-in Django scheduler for timed sends, and any lightweight front-end you’re comfortable with (plain HTML/Bootstrap is fine). Acceptance criteria: • Working Django project that can authenticate with the WhatsApp API and send/broadcast messages. • Reliable scheduling mechanism that triggers at the correct time, with retry logic on failures. • Basic UI for adding contacts, composing messages, and viewing send logs. • Installation guide and brief README covering environment variables, API keys, and deployment steps. Please keep the solution lean and well commented so I can extend it later.
