I am looking for a talented illustrator to create a child comic book for my son. The comic book is intended for elementary school-aged children (6-9 years old).
Style:
- The preferred style for the comic book is cartoonish, with vibrant and fun illustrations.
Color:
- The comic book should be colored, with bright and engaging colors to enhance the storytelling experience.
Skills and Experience:
- The ideal freelancer should have experience in creating child-friendly illustrations.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work in creating cartoonish illustrations for children's books or comics would be highly desirable.
This project is a wonderful opportunity for an illustrator who enjoys bringing stories to life and captivating young readers with their artistic skills.
My son is 6 and created a character called Copycat which is a 10 year old who has the ability to shape shift to other people and steal other super heroes powers if he is close to them. He loves Spiderman comic books and his character takes place in that universe. This is intended as a comic book just for his own enjoyment, it will not be sold.
He has a little background on the character as well as a few stories in mind for the character. What we are looking for is for a several page comic book to be made with the stories he has come up with in them.
He has a description of the character and rough outline of what he looks like. He is 10 years old. Blonde and normal build. His suit is mostly yellow with some black accents. His mask covers his head and top part of his face with cat ears. An emblem of a cat on his chest.
What I would like is a rough sketch up of how you envision the character along with your proposal.
