Drive U-Haul Texas to Chicago

My dad needs to relocate from Texas up to Chicago and I’m looking for a reliable driver to get his fully-rented U-Haul truck here safely. He was in a terrible car accident in February and is coming to live with me. He can't walk well, he can't drive or fly due to his [login to view URL] is a one-way trip; on arrival you’ll simply hand the keys over—no return drive required. The truck will have his personal vehicle secured on the tow dolly behind it, so you’ll need to be comfortable maneuvering the combined length. What you’ll actually do • Meet him at scheduled time in Texas (he is in Dallas and it would be July 31st he wants to leave). • Give my dad a hand with loading only; everything will be boxed and ready, so it’s mainly lifting items onto the truck and securing them (he doesn't have much some boxes in storage nothing crazy). • Drive the loaded truck—plus the car in tow—straight through to his new address in Chicago, following a safe, sensible route. • Keep us updated by phone or text during the drive so we know things are running smoothly. • Park the truck at the delivery address; family members will handle unloading. Requirements • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Experience with long-distance moves or towing is a big plus. • Proof of insurance coverage for driving rental vehicles. • Good physical condition for the initial loading assistance. Deliverable Truck and attached car arrive in Chicago on the agreed date, undamaged and ready for us to unload.
