Attached are 2 sample files whose Anodising Perimeter and Moment of Inertia values are known and listed on the CAD drawings. This files are attached to help fine tune and confirm your method of calculation, to be matching the values we have. We will need screenshot copies from the software as a supporting information once your values match.
Once above is confirmed, the actual job is to find Anodising Perimeter and Moment of Inertia in similar manner, for 2 cross sections as per the job file J01 and J02.
Please note, CAD files J01 and J02 are working files from our system. We do not know if they will suite your requirement or the software version. Minor touch up may also be required on J01 and J02 to calculate anodising perimeter (external perimeter) of the cross section.
In case of any doubt, please and MUST ask before quoting or accepting the job. This is to avoid any confusion and waste of time after the job is accepted by you.
WHAT WE EXPECT AS A JOB OUTCOME:
For each of the cross section J01 and J02 we need (1) Anodising Perimeter in mm (also called external perimeter), (2) Moment of Inertia Ixx and Iyy in mm4 (3) Supporting screenshots from your software displaying the calculated values. Perimeter in mm and Area in square mm are optional, if you can provide.
Attached (Sample Profiles. ZIP) and (Job Files J01 and [login to view URL]) also contain PDF with screenshots and notes.
It is must that before job files are processed, you fine tune your calculations with help of sample files and send your screenshots to display calculated values.
All doubts must be cleared with us in advance before quoting and accepting the job.
