We need the very basic multiplayer functionality available in Unity UNET put together in a prefab or a package we would like to import into another project.
Please understand that we are not trying to learn how you code or how to code it. It should be easily imported into any project. We are pressed by time and we need this to be considered a module we can import.
Feel free to reuse the Unity UNET sample available in the Asset store and remove any unnecessary source.
Just like many other games like Words with friends or chess we should be able to create and host a lobby on our server.
The players will not host the games.
Any player should be able to join the lobby and with match making find an opponent.
Once the player is matched to an opponent the game should start.
For simplicity simply create a scene with a cube and each player should be able to move his/her cube on the screen.
Use the sample project that Unity provides in the asset store and clean it up as needed. It is a very basic project.
For simplicity of integration we are simply trying to import your project (prefab) in a way that we can use it as is and make the few necessary settings changes that you would provide in a simple solution.
1. Create lobby where players can find other players to play
2. It is a two player game like chess or checkers.
3. You are only required to make the cube move from a position to another and ensure that it is reflected on the other player screen.
4. Players are identified by their username but also with their unique network id.
5. Deliverable is a C# Unity with all the source per the requirements above
6. Please include documentation as to what fields need to be updated in order for the project variables need to be updated in order for it to work with our project.
