Hello. I have attached a VS project containing a user control which allows the user to arrange items in an inventory grid. This project was constructed by a programmer who completed my job at: https://www.freelancer.com/projects/c-sharp-programming/net-download-complete-attached-source/#/details
Please fix so that when items are dragged out of the inventory grids, they are removed.
When items are dropped on another, they must not overlap on grid cells.
When items are dragged on top of another item, move the items underneath elsewhere in the same grid, - as close by as possible - not on the opposite grid.
If there is no space for a drop event; please have the dragged item put back where it was dragged from.
In future I need to be able to adjust for items of sizes 3x3, 3x2 or 4x2. and be able to rotate items. You do not need to make such functionality right now, but make sure the code is flexible for extendability for implementing such features later.
As you can appreciate, the other programmer did not write any useful comments in the code, but it should be clear as to how he got things to work thus far.
Rewriting an inventory grid is not necessary, but optional if you feel it would be better. C# or VB.NET, target - - Framework 4.0 - -
