Convert VBA Script to Visual Studio C# Add-in

I built some code in Microsoft Word using VBA. I want to do more with the code but find VBA very limiting so want to have the code moved to Visual Studio. Also, there is some cleanup to the app so it works properly. 1) Convert the code to Visual Studio using C#. The code will come with an installer that automatically makes it an add-in within Microsoft Word. 2) Remove all the commented code, so it is clean. 3) There are a few minor bugs I need you to fix. 4) One of the reasons I want to use Visual Studio is because I want to read and write XML files. VBA is not that good at doing XML output. I want the code I currently use to edit a few XML files and fill in various records. The XML is just opening and editing local files.
