Connect Gmail to Outlook

I need my Gmail account properly added to the Microsoft Outlook desktop client. Right now I can’t even finish the initial setup—Outlook never accepts the account and no mail comes in or goes out. There are no useful error codes; it simply refuses to complete the connection. Your task is to: • configure Outlook so it authenticates with Gmail (IMAP, OAuth 2.0 or app-password if two-factor is active) • make sure every Gmail label appears as the correct Outlook folder and that messages send, receive and sync without delays • give me a brief note on the exact steps or settings you changed so I can replicate them on another machine if needed We can work by remote session or detailed step-by-step instructions—whichever you prefer—as long as the result is a fully working, continuously syncing mailbox inside Outlook.
