Currently we have a working iOS and android app that connects to a Restfull api on AWS server. The Database is neo4j and goLang is used to write the APIs.
Task: We're looking to move the APIs to azure mobile app services.
Our project plan:
Phase 1: We are looking to replicate all calls in .net setup. SQL database is already configured. Minor adjustment to tables might be required as work progresses. The aim is to have minimum change on the mobile side for this phase. The newly developed APIs also need to be secured. At the end of this phase the mobile apps work as they are now but connect to azure instead of aws.
Phase 2: Make some minor changes and adjustments to iOS mobile apps to get them ready for production and release to App Store.
Phase 3: Replicate the minor changes and adjustment made to iOS on android mobile app. at the end of this phase, the android app would be identical to the iOS app and ready to be released to Google Play store.
I have been a .net developers for quite some time and only recently moved to project management. I could get the work done myself but do not have the time to do it. The fact that I know what needs to be done should make your job a lot easier. Everything is setup and ready to go. The accounts, a basic project with some sample calls, the database. All you need to do is give me your email so I can register you and provide you with the source repository details.
For phase 1, there is about 12-15 objects and around 70 api calls that needs to be replicated. mostly GET, POST, PUT … The current setup is working, live and based on json so it should be easy to replicate in webApi on azure.
Could you please provide the following information for phase 1 ONLY?
- Your availability? When would you be able to start?
- How long do you think phase 1 would take you to complete?
- How much would you charge to complete phase 1?
