Windows 7 Custom Login Provider (LogonUI Provider)

I am looking to create a custom login interface, integrated with the windows shell. That is, replacing the default login interface and functionality completely, not just changing the background etc. Biometric authentication devices would demonstrate this sort of feature. This is done through implementing a credential provider which interacts with the Windows LogonUI. Please see [login to view URL] for a detailed explantion, including source code examples. Inside the source code examples provided by MS you will even be able to find a support email address which MS has reserved purely for this kind of task. Do you have the skill set to create such a program? Well then, now for the tough bit. My expertise is in C#, and I plan to write the interface and logic in C#... but a task like this can't be accomplished without a lower level language like C++ (I'd be happy to be proven wrong though!) The winning bidder will be able to create a solution which either calls in a C# UI (can be provided as WPF window/control/library, whichever is easier) to handle the actual login task. Alternatively, a wrapper or library which can be used in C#, to enable integration with LogonUI, will be equally valuable. The C# UI will not handle more data than a simple username and password string. I would also accept a soltuion for displaying my own UI before the windows login screen - but this would require a method for my UI to pass credentials through to the windows login screen.
