Hi There, I am new to Freelancer so I place my bid to fit your budget. I can work on your project and deliver Arduino code for a bar code reader and for an ADC chip for scale application. Of course I will provide the parts numbers used and the wiring so you can replicate my setup. I have done a 0 to 5Kg digital scale with a resolution of 2g fitted with very cheap parts. I have the hardware for this in my lab at the moment. I also have loads to build a scale that can support over 100Kg. Since I don't have a bar code reader, I ordered one to anticipate the eventuality that you take my bid. It has a USB interface but I can use it's UART interface if that is what you want for your application. I can work with both and the reader will arrive this Friday. I set the job to 10 days but if you only need an Arduino sketch to scan a code and weight an object, this can be done by Monday.
