Web Conversion CGI:
The software reads the Home Pages and converts the text strings in the original pages into other strings according to the string pairs (source/target) contained in the specified dictionary using sentence to sentence pattern matching/replacing. The program also converts the strings in the linked pages.
This is a filter to convert HTML WebPages in English into other languages or dialects. It performs simple pattern matching & replace of HTML pages retaining original layout. The program ignores strings in JAVA scripts, graphics, etc.
Files Used:
- Dictionary File
Contains plain texts with source strings and target strings separated by delimiter (t).
The sentence pairs are pre-sorted by length so that the longest sentence comes first for fast matching.
