I have recently bought a second-hand HHP Dolphin 7200 handheld barcode scanner for a small charity bookshop, of which I'm the Manager. Full details of the product can be found at the following link:

Unfortunately, the device did not come with any software (other than demo. soft.).
The manufacturer's website (follow link above) states that:
"DOS-Compatible 386 Architecture Applications can be created using 16-bit Microsoft Visual C++ or Borland C/C++."
All we are looking for is a very simple Goods In program that will:
1) scan item (such as book) barcode and then request quantity received,
2) store the record and repeat this process for the next item,
3) there needs to be a facility for saving these records as .txt files so that we can then upload them into our Windows ran stock control program on our PC.
Any further questions, please don't hesitate to get back to me for clarification or further information.
Much appreciated, David Smith, Edinburgh UK.
