Hi Will W., Last week I delivered a 9,800 sq ft luxury home from concept to fully engineered drawings; I’m confident I can handle yours really well and fast. i would like to know the below. - Which jurisdiction and exact code editions should I follow (IBC/ASCE 7/ACI 318/AISC/NDS), incl. wind/seismic parameters? - Do you have a current geotech report with allowable bearing, site class, groundwater, and frost depth? I think we should. - Lock the lateral system early (shear walls vs moment frames) so architecture is protected and permits move quicker. - Use a single coordinated DWG/PDF set plus a calc book and a standardized detail library to cut RFIs and change orders. Lets follow a plan like this. 1) I review your CAD, survey, and soils; confirm materials (wood/steel/concrete), spans, and deflection targets. 2) I set grids and load paths; size footings, beams, and columns; run gravity/lateral analysis in ETABS/RISA; iterate fast with you. 3) I draft clean, buildable sheets: foundation, floor/roof framing, sections, schedules, and connection details; export DWG + PDF. 4) I perform QA/peer checks, coordinate AHJ comments, and support your GC through permit and early construction. So you need a full structural design that consist of full foundation / footing design, beam and collumn layout, and comprehensive structural drawings for this 10.000 square feet luxury residence and you already have the architectural files from your autocad files, is that right? I have an offer sir, i use 2 software most of the time, Revit 2026 and Autocad 2026. If you want me to work in Revit than in my opinion its better because you can also have 3D structural view so you can see and feels the structural element such as the size of foundation, collumns, and beams. Also i can make detailing or add rebar on them in Revit. But if you want me to say in Autocad then thats okay. I will make sure its align with your local building document and also have precise measurement. You will get unlimited revision from me until you satisfied enough for the results. Also i dont want to be over confident so i can work the early stage of the design right now even before the bid ends so you can see my result.
