Exterior walls, windows, stairways, and roof lines cannot be moved. Existing ceiling height limitations caused by the roof structure must be carefully considered. Plumbing locations should remain the same or very close to existing locations. An upstairs laundry area is preferred and should be included if possible. Bathroom designs should include glass shower/tub enclosures, modern finishes, deep sinks, and cabinets above toilets extending to the ceiling. Closet areas should be at least as large as the existing closets. Cabinetry should maximize vertical and corner storage with a clean modern look.
