Exterior Facade

Hi, looking to do some renovation to an old house. I have attached the front of the house for your reference. Side/back pictures to be sent during discussion.
Looking for modern design. Looking to
1) Extend the ground floor outwards to make it same level as 1st floor or slightly outwards.
2) Close off the current car porch (circled in green) and make it part of the interior.
3) Build a car porch with shelter towards the front.
Problem with this arrangement is that I imagine it will look out of place/ugly. The red rectangular what will be extended and become part of the interior.
I haven't included the shelter as I can't draw but it's either a concrete balcony or a steel shelter with steel roof.
Please advise.
