Copy editing

Albert has kindly pointed out your project and your need for help from a copy editor. Thank you for including a sample of the work, that was extremely helpful and has given me a good idea of the work required. I would like to provide you with a sample of my editing as this is a substantial project and I would want you to feel confident in the skills I have to offer and the way I edit texts. My intention is to edit the first ten pages (free of charge) which equates to 2,600 words and I will complete it within two or three hours. I will then ask the recruiter to forward it on to you and would be grateful if you could acknowledge its receipt. I am aware my bid is higher than your budget - I try to be fair to all my clients and as I edit up to ten novels a year, and as each takes up to a month to complete from start to finish, I hope you will understand why my bid is at the level it is.
