Firstly, with due respect you need to ditch the idea of using Windows for nodes, that's not what you would want down the road for the following reasons:
- Most if not all projects are optimised for LInux OS, after all they are opensources solutions
- The licencing cost of Windows server will become unnecessary overhead
- The performance or Linux server will be much better even on the same flavour

I have already setup nodes for Ethereum, NULS, Bitcoin etc. So, I know how it works.
I would perhaps write an Ansible playbook to prepare the servers for common tasks so that provisioning new nodes will be much more simplified and streamlined.
Also, with the playbook, you can provision new or add nodes pretty quickly and more importantly consistently.
Ideally, provisioning Ethereum node would be like:
ansible-playbook [login to view URL]
