hi paul, thanks for this. my comments below:
right now, i don't think i want to re-edit the video much. i'm trying to tell a story so the current order of the clips is intentional. but you're right, some clips are too long and i was planning on making some shorter and overall the video a bit tighter. can you please keep this in mind and send me a "draft with music" of your edited version before you spend time on vfx, recoloring, and titling? this way i can tell you what i think before you proceed with all the other work.
*matching dancing scenes with rhythm and beat of music*
what i really need right now is to match the dancing scenes with the beat, this would mean speeding up or slowing down clips so the footsteps of the dancers match the rhythm and beat of the music playing at that particular moment in the video. actually i can do this myself, but it takes me a lot of time and many tries. people with more experience editing dance music videos can do this faster and with better results.
sounds good, i like your idea. flashing lights, disco ball lights, other effects would add a lot to the video. also, you probably noticed there are a few clips that have faint disco ball lights, perhaps we can enhance those lights so they are more visible. seconds 246-253.
*recoloring, additional cc*
i'd like to see what you have in mind. the currents titles are alright for me too. but if you have some ideas, let's see what you're thinking before we implement anything. use the current text if you want to show me a demo or mockup screenshot.
*cost and money*
ok, i'll hire you in freelancer right now.
yes, let's get this done sooner the better. my bangkok dance group is eagerly awaiting final video.
thanks and talk soon,
