About the Role We are looking for a Marketing Operations & B2B Lead Generation Specialist to help manage and scale our outbound marketing engine. This is a highly execution-focused role built around three core priorities: B2B data sourcing and list building, multi-channel campaign execution, and AI-driven marketing and automation. The person in this role will play an important part in helping Lane Automotive operate with greater speed, better data quality, and more scalable marketing systems. Your top priority will be to build and maintain high-quality prospect lists, execute and optimize campaigns across multiple channels, and improve efficiency through AI and automation. This is not a narrow administrative role. It is a hands-on growth operations role for someone who can combine data work, campaign support, process improvement, and workflow ownership in one reliable function. Engagement Details This is a freelance / contract-based role with a remote global setup. We offer a flexible working structure and prefer a long-term collaboration with someone who can support the business consistently over time. The expected workload is 15–30 hours per week. What You’ll Be Responsible For 1. List Generation & Data Management This is the highest-priority area of the role. You will research and identify reliable data sources for B2B prospecting, build targeted prospect lists across multiple segments and markets, and maintain strong standards of data quality across the system. Your work will include cleaning, normalizing, deduplicating, structuring, and enriching prospect data from various sources so it can be used effectively across outreach, CRM, and campaign workflows. You will also maintain and update CRM databases and segment prospect lists based on campaign needs, audience type, and behavioral signals. 2. Marketing Operations You will support and execute marketing operations across multiple channels and touchpoints. This includes publishing and distributing content across the website, social media, email campaigns, and third-party platforms. You will also help manage and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, while supporting outbound marketing through email campaigns, drip sequences, cold outreach, and related execution workflows. In addition, you will update websites and landing pages through CMS tools such as WordPress, HubSpot, or similar platforms, and collaborate with developers on website improvements where needed. 3. AI, Automation & Workflow Optimization A core expectation of this role is using AI and automation to improve execution speed and reduce manual work. You will be expected to use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI platforms on a daily basis to accelerate execution and improve workflow efficiency. You will build automation systems using Zapier, Make, and CRM-based automations, identify manual processes that should be replaced, and continuously test and adopt new AI tools that can strengthen output, accuracy, and scalability. This role is designed for someone who actively improves systems, not someone who only completes assigned tasks. 4. Freelancer & Project Coordination You will help source and manage freelancers across functions such as design, video editing, copywriting, and SEO. This includes writing clear briefs, ensuring quality delivery, managing timelines, and helping keep budgets and execution organized. This role does not require direct employee management, but it does require strong coordination, organization, and follow-through across multiple contributors and moving parts. Workflow & Working Rhythm This role follows a clear operating cadence. Daily, you will focus on data sourcing and list building, campaign monitoring and execution, and AI-assisted content and workflow support. Weekly, you will analyze campaign performance, update CRM records and segments, and coordinate with freelancers or related contributors. Monthly, you will deliver performance reporting, recommend strategy improvements, and identify automation opportunities that improve efficiency and execution quality over time. Reporting & Deliverables You will be expected to provide weekly performance reports covering campaign activity and data insights, along with monthly strategic reports focused on growth opportunities, process improvements, and execution recommendations. Reporting will typically rely on Google Sheets, CRM dashboards, and analytics tools. Core deliverables include: Clean and structured prospect databases Executed marketing campaigns Automation workflows Performance reports How We Measure Success Success in this role will be measured through a combination of marketing performance, operational quality, and system efficiency. Key metrics include: Lead quality and conversion rate Campaign performance, including CPA and ROAS Data accuracy and usability Workflow efficiency and level of automation This means performance is judged not only by output volume, but by whether the underlying systems, campaigns, and data become cleaner, more useful, and more scalable over time. Collaboration You will work closely with the Marketing / Growth Lead, the content team, the ads team, and external freelancers. This role sits across several execution layers, so success depends on strong cross-functional coordination as well as individual ownership. What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone with at least 2+ years of experience in B2B marketing or marketing operations, with proven hands-on experience in list building, data sourcing, and growth execution. You should be comfortable using AI tools in daily workflows, building automation processes with Zapier, Make, or similar tools, and supporting paid campaigns across Google, Meta, and LinkedIn. Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot, strong Excel / Google Sheets capability, and the ability to manage freelancers and deliver projects effectively are all important in this role.
