We are looking for an experienced backend developer with strong knowledge of AWS (SES, S3, Lambda) and the Frappe Framework. We need to build an event-driven "push" architecture for incoming emails. Instead of relying on Frappe's default 5-minute IMAP sync, we want incoming emails routed through AWS SES, parsed by AWS Lambda, and pushed instantly to our Frappe server via REST API. Key Responsibilities: Configure AWS SES to receive inbound emails for our domain and store the raw MIME files temporarily in an Amazon S3 bucket. Write an AWS Lambda function (Python or Node.js) triggered by SES/S3. The Lambda function must parse the raw email to extract the Sender, Recipient, Subject, Text Body, HTML Body, and any Attachments. Push this parsed data as a clean JSON payload to our Frappe instance using the standard REST API to automatically create a Communication record. Correctly handle and upload email attachments to the Frappe File Manager via the API and link them to the created Communication record. Set up a 1-day lifecycle deletion policy on the S3 bucket to minimize storage costs. Required Skills: AWS (SES, Lambda, S3, IAM permissions) Python or Node.js (for the Lambda parsing script) Experience with REST APIs and JSON Familiarity with the Frappe Framework / ERPNext API structure is a major plus. Deliverables: Fully functional inbound email pipeline working in our production environment. Source code for the Lambda function. A brief documentation guide (or recorded screen share) showing how the AWS services are connected and how to update the API keys if needed in the future.

Vanakkam bro message pannunga namma further ah discuss panalam Hello, I reviewed your requirements and understand that you want to replace Frappe's periodic IMAP polling with a real-time, event-driven inbound email pipeline using AWS SES, S3, Lambda, and the Frappe REST API. My approach would be to configure SES for inbound email handling, temporarily store raw MIME messages in S3, trigger a Lambda function to parse email content and attachments, and securely push the structured data into Frappe as Communication records. Attachments will be uploaded and correctly linked through the Frappe File API, with appropriate IAM permissions and a 1-day S3 lifecycle policy to keep storage costs minimal. Quick questions: * Is your domain already verified and receiving email through AWS SES, or should the complete SES/MX configuration be included? * Does your Frappe instance already expose the required REST API endpoints with authentication configured? I can deliver the complete production pipeline, Lambda source code, and clear documentation for future maintenance and API credential updates. Looking forward to hearing from you. Best Regards

Replacing scheduled IMAP polling with an event-driven pipeline is the right approach when incoming emails need to appear in Frappe immediately. The critical part is making the workflow reliable end-to-end, from SES receipt through attachment handling to REST API delivery, rather than simply parsing emails. I'll configure SES, S3, and Lambda to create a push-based pipeline that extracts the email content, uploads attachments, and sends a clean JSON payload to your Frappe REST API. The implementation will include lifecycle policies, IAM permissions, structured error handling, and clear documentation so the integration is easy to maintain. A similar approach has been used in production systems where I built event-driven backend services, REST API integrations, and asynchronous workflows for reliable data processing. You'll receive the complete Lambda source code, production-ready AWS configuration, and a setup guide covering service connections and API key updates.

You only get instant email push to Frappe if SES is routing inbound, Lambda parses MIME, and every field + attachment is linked via API. IMAP polling never hits real-time, so this SES > Lambda > REST path is the way I usually build for ERPNext. I integrated a similar pipeline last quarter (SES to Node.js Lambda, with JSON push to a Frappe custom app, S3 attachments, and one-day lifecycle). I lean Node.js for the Lambda so I can reuse fast MIME parsers and tightly manage memory on large emails and files. Are attachments always under 10MB, or should I split multi-part uploads to Frappe? Let me know your attachment volume and I’ll confirm the architecture. Pradeep

I specialize in Python backend development and custom API integrations, making me an excellent fit to build your event-driven email architecture. Relying on Frappe’s default 5-minute IMAP sync introduces unnecessary latency; a push-based AWS pipeline is the correct approach for instant Communication record creation. Here is my execution plan for your pipeline: 1. AWS Routing & Storage: I will configure SES to receive your domain's emails and route the raw MIME files to an S3 bucket configured with the exact 1-day lifecycle deletion policy you requested to minimize overhead. 2. Lambda Processing: I will write a robust Python Lambda function triggered by S3 `ObjectCreated` events. Drawing on my background in automated data parsing, I will ensure the script cleanly strips the headers, separates HTML/Text bodies, and correctly handles complex multipart attachments. 3. Frappe API Integration: The parsed data will be structured into a clean JSON payload and pushed to your Frappe instance via its standard REST API. I will ensure attachments are properly uploaded to the File Manager and explicitly linked to the newly generated Communication record. I will deliver the fully commented Python source code, configure the necessary IAM roles with the principle of least privilege, and provide a clear screen-share walkthrough for your documentation. Let's connect so I can review your Frappe environment specifics and begin the AWS setup.

Hi, I understand you're looking to set up an event-driven 'push' architecture for inbound emails to your Frappe instance, bypassing the standard IMAP sync. This is a great approach to achieve instant email processing and integration. My experience lies in building robust backend systems and integrating various services. While your project specifies Python for the Lambda function, my core strength is with Node.js and JavaScript, which are equally capable for this task. I'm confident in my ability to develop a clean, efficient Lambda function to parse emails and push data via your Frappe REST API. I've built custom eCommerce platforms and handled API integrations extensively, so I'm familiar with structuring data payloads and interacting with APIs for record creation. Specifically, I can configure AWS SES to receive emails, set up S3 for temporary storage with the 1-day lifecycle policy, and write the Lambda function to extract all the necessary details (Sender, Recipient, Subject, Text, HTML, Attachments). For handling attachments, I'll ensure they are correctly uploaded to Frappe's File Manager via the API and properly linked to the Communication record. I'm particularly interested in the integration aspect. Could you clarify if there's an existing API endpoint in your Frappe setup that you prefer for receiving this data, or should I propose the most standard `Communication` creation endpoint? I can deliver this fully functional pipeline, including the Lambda source code and basic documentation, within 5-7 days. Considering the complexity and the need for secure AWS integration, I propose a price of 28000 INR. Roberto

Hi, I can build this AWS SES → Lambda → Frappe push integration for you. I’ll configure SES to receive inbound emails for your domain and store raw MIME in S3, then write a Lambda (Python) that parses sender, recipient, subject, and body, and pushes the data to your Frappe server via REST API instantly. I’ll also set up proper IAM roles and error handling so failed deliveries are logged and retried. To verify, I’ll test with real emails to confirm the full flow works end-to-end, and I’ll validate that the Frappe endpoint correctly creates the communication or lead record without duplicates. I’ll deliver this in around 20 days for INR 37500. Could you confirm the Frappe endpoint you want me to call (e.g., a custom API in a specific DocType) and whether you need attachment handling as well?

Hi, I can build the AWS SES, S3, Lambda, and Frappe inbound email routing pipeline so emails are pushed instantly into Frappe instead of waiting for the default IMAP sync. The best solution is to first configure AWS SES for inbound email receiving, store raw MIME messages in S3, and trigger a Lambda function automatically. The Lambda will parse sender, recipient, subject, text body, HTML body, and attachments, then send a clean JSON payload to Frappe through the REST API. I’m comfortable with AWS SES, S3, Lambda, IAM, Python/Node.js, MIME parsing, REST APIs, JSON, Frappe/ERPNext API workflows, attachment uploads, logging, and secure credential handling. Deliverables will include: * SES inbound email setup * S3 raw email storage * Lambda parser function * Sender, recipient, subject, body extraction * Attachment upload to Frappe File Manager * Communication record creation * Attachment linking * IAM permissions setup * S3 1-day lifecycle rule * Error logging and retry handling * Lambda source code * Setup and API-key update documentation I’ll focus on a clean event-driven architecture, fast email delivery into Frappe, secure AWS configuration, and documentation your team can maintain later. Best regards Ankit
