I need a practitioner who already speaks the language of the ramp, the cockpit, or the operations centre to dig into passenger compensation obligations worldwide. This is a pure research assignment, so I am only interested in someone with hands-on aviation insight who can quickly navigate regulations, airline policies, and real-world claim data. Scope • Map the current compensation rules that apply to flight delays, cancellations, denied boarding and baggage issues in key jurisdictions (EU 261/2004, UK 261, US DOT, Canada APPR, and at least three major APAC markets). • Compare how leading carriers actually enforce or exceed those mandates, highlighting differences in cash payouts, vouchers, duty-of-care services, and escalation processes. • Identify recent legal precedents or fines that have shifted airline behaviour. • Present gap analysis and practical recommendations an airline could use to tighten compliance or a passenger-advocacy firm could leverage for claim handling. Deliverables 1. Structured report (Word or Google Docs) plus an executive slide deck summarising findings. 2. Data table (Excel/Sheets) with side-by-side compensation entitlements by jurisdiction and carrier. 3. Citations and live links to all primary sources (regulations, airline T&Cs, case law). Acceptance criteria: information must be current to the last six months, cross-checked against at least two authoritative sources per data point, and written in clear, neutral English. Timeline: first outline within one week, final package two weeks later. If you have verifiable aviation experience and enjoy deep, regulatory-style research, I’m ready to discuss the details and move forward quickly.
