Location: Jackson, NH (Shovel Handle Pub / Whitney's Inn) Date: Saturday, April 3, 2027 Shift Hours: ~3 PM – 10:30 PM (approx. 8 hours, includes 30 min setup/wrap-up) Pay: $25 – $30/hr, paid end of shift We are seeking a reliable, tech-savvy individual to act as a Playlist & Audio Attendant for an upcoming private reception in Jackson, NH. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a traditional DJ or MC job. You will not need to make announcements, talk on the microphone, hype up the crowd, or bring sound gear. All music playlists are completely pre-curated on our laptop. Your job is simply to keep the music playing smoothly, monitor volume levels, and oversee the audio setup table. Key responsibilities include: * Playlist Oversight: Monitor our pre-made Spotify playlists (dinner, dancing, background) on a provided laptop connected to the venue’s pre-installed sound setup. * Volume & Level Controls: Adjust master volume as needed between dinner, toasts, and dancing. Ensure smooth crossfading between tracks. * Microphone Management: Switch on/off the wireless microphone for designated toasts/speeches and manage audio levels so speakers are heard clearly. * Setup Supervision: Keep playback devices plugged in, charged, and online. Ensure guests do not alter or tamper with the playlist queue. Qualifications: * Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating music apps, basic audio mixers/cables, and tablets/laptops. * Punctual & Dependable: Must have reliable transportation to Jackson, NH, arrive on time, and stay for the full shift duration. * Professional: Neat, business casual attire required. * Must be 18+ years old.
