Video Editing for UGC E-commerce Ads

VIDEO EDITOR — SIMPLE UGC E-COMMERCE ADS Paid Trial + Long-Term Opportunity We are looking for 3 experienced video editors to complete a paid one-week trial. This is a long-term role for the right person. We do not need complicated cinematic editing, heavy effects, or advanced motion graphics. We need someone who can create clean, natural, high-converting UGC-style e-commerce ads: - voice-over - relevant video clips - clean subtitles - fast pacing - no awkward silences - correct spelling and brand details ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ THE JOB ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Your job is pure editing. We will provide: - the background video / video clips - the final ElevenLabs voice-over as an MP3 - reference ads when relevant - brand name, text, offer and CTA - all necessary assets You will: - edit the video in a natural UGC ad style; - cut all unnecessary silences and dead space from the voice-over; - match the visuals to what is being said in the voice-over; - add clean, accurate subtitles; - make sure the product is shown when the voice-over talks about the product; - make sure relevant visuals appear when the voice-over mentions an ingredient, benefit, problem, review, etc.; - add simple music/SFX only when they improve the ad; - check every subtitle, product name and brand name for spelling mistakes; - export polished vertical 9:16 ads ready for Meta/TikTok. We are looking for simple but effective editing. The ad must feel natural, make sense visually, and keep attention. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PAID TRIAL — FIRST WEEK ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ - Duration: 1 week - Production days: 3 days during the week - Standard workload: 15 videos per production day - Typical video duration: 30–40 seconds - Maximum standard duration: 60 seconds - If videos are closer to 60 seconds, the daily quantity may be reduced to around 10 videos. - If videos are much shorter than 30 seconds, the quantity may be increased. Trial payment: $100 USD total for the week. This rate is fixed and non-negotiable. The trial videos will be simple: all core assets and the final voice-over will already be provided. You will not need to search for UGC footage, create scripts, generate voice-over, or find product resources from scratch. Please apply only if you accept the fixed trial rate and can reliably handle this workload. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ AFTER THE TRIAL ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ We will select one editor for a long-term collaboration. For the same simple workload: - approximately 15 videos per production day; - approximately 30–60 seconds per video; - 3 production days per week; the base rate remains $100 USD per week / approximately $33 USD per production day. As the role grows, pay will increase if: - videos become longer or more complex; - more videos are required; - additional responsibilities are added; - your quality, speed and reliability are consistently strong. After the trial, payment can be weekly, biweekly, or per day depending on your preference. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ REQUIREMENTS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ - Proven experience editing UGC-style e-commerce ads. - Comfortable editing voice-over-led ads with subtitles. - Good working English: you must understand the voice-over well enough to match visuals to the message. - Strong attention to detail: no spelling errors, wrong product shots, badly timed subtitles, or incorrect brand names. - Fast, organized and reliable. - Able to follow a brief and recreate the rhythm and structure of successful competitor ads without overcomplicating the edit. - CapCut Desktop, Premiere Pro, or equivalent editing software. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ TO APPLY ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Please send a GG doc with: 1.
