The vibe I’m after is closer to a DJ set than a formal PA announcement, so I’m looking for someone who can supply, install, and run DJ decks and quality speakers that can comfortably fill a small venue without overpowering conversation. Here’s what I expect on the day: you bring the gear, handle delivery, cabling, and tidy installation, run a quick sound-check, stay on-site to monitor levels, then strike everything once we finish. Clean, well-balanced audio is essential, and I’ll need at least one microphone ready for short announcements. Deliverables • Industry-standard DJ decks and mixer • Two powered main speakers on stands (plus a monitor if you recommend it) • Wired or wireless mic with stand • All power, audio cabling, and any DI boxes • Full setup, live monitoring, and teardown If you can also provide extras such as a compact sub, basic ambient lighting, or a backup music playlist, let me know—flexibility is a plus. Same vibe as yours. i would like to know the below. 1) Deck format: CDJs with USB (Rekordbox) or an XDJ‑RX3, and will any guest DJ plug in? 2) Venue basics: indoor/outdoor, available power (two 15A ok?), and any dB/noise cap? I think we should. - Add the compact sub, crossed ~85Hz, so mains run quieter yet stay full and clear. - Set a gentle master limiter and watch SPL live for clean, steady levels all night.
