audio recording and production

On monthly basis, we are recording a podcast on Thursdays afternoon. We are looking for someone to help us with set up the audio equipment ahead of the taping. • Podcast audio recorded through a Behringer Xenyx X1204USB mixer (we already own and will provide) using 2-4 microphones (we already own and will provide - Audio Technica ATR2100-USB). Mixer connected to computer interface through USB input. • We’ve been using Audacity to capture the audio. Prospective producer could use whatever software they prefer. • You would also need to capture the audio to your computer and then export the raw audio as a .WAV file to send to our audio editor for post-production. • Potential producer may also need to be able to setup mixer/computer to be able to have guests calling in connected to one of the mixer channels for remote interviews. Ultimately need someone to take ownership of the production process who can provide a "turn-key" solution. Recording of podcasts is done twice a month on Thursdays afternoon in our office located in Baltimore, MD.
